Quality Policy
It is the policy of ASTA to provide a consistent level of work performance that meets or exceeds the quality standards set forth in this manual. Quality is here in defined as conforming to the requirements and specifications cited within this manual in all matters of construction, fabrication and material control.
- Is committed to establishing and maintaining an effective project Quality Management System modeled in the requirements of the client.
- As certain that all construction activities are pre-determined in complete conformance with the approved construction drawings and all applicable standards, specifications and requirements.
- To maintain the program rests with the quality control manager and his delegated QC supervisors. Their direct responsibility is to ensure that all requirements for this project together with the integral quality program are strictly adhered to. The QC development is authorized to stop any work activity until compliance with the manual is achieved.
- The QC manager/Engineer, in his exercise of all functions controlling quality of construction, fabrication, erection, materials, and tests procedures shall not be over ruled by any superintendent or manager, including the project manager. Any serious disputes or conflicts shall be brought to the attention of the General Manager for resolution.
- It shall cooperate and coordinate in all matters relative to the quality control program and all personnel directly involved in this project shall be continuously kept informed of contract requirements as work progresses.
